About xICB
The xICB Index is a visual demonstration of what a currency brand index in a satconomy market might look like. Besides reporting market related news, an index would also have a listing of registered currency brands, with automated mechanisms for summarizing composite published currency activity trends for a given period. It would also offer dynamic aggregation of individual currency brand activity for a given period. These trends and aggregate summaries are captured as evaluation metrics, such as percent credit recovery, inflow/outflow ratios and issued currency units per member per week.
It must be emphasized that an index does not represent a boundary for conducting trade - in satconomy, members of an entity can spontaneously trade with any other entity. It does not matter to which region or index a currency brand belongs. The only limitation and primary responsibility of both buyer and seller is to recognize each other's independent responsibility to freely accept or reject a transaction offer, and to publish the resulting currency inflow or outflow in order to allow auditable ledger reconciliation across entities, regions and/or indices.
